Julie announced that the March book will be "Truth and Beauty: A Friendship" by Ann Patchett. She suggests that we also read "Autobiography of a Face" by Lucy Greely, which is a companion book of sorts.
We'll be meeting at Eleanor's house (I'm sure her daughter will tell her we nominated her before we actually meet) at 6:30 p.m. on March 21, 2008.

Eleanor was a grand hostess, as always. We had strawberries, cantelope, cheese and crackers, meatballs, mini-pizzas, cream puffs, peanut M&Ms, and regular M&Ms. There was wine and water.
Cranberry juice and chicken stock anyone?
Discussion was lively and the book provided for many avenues of interesting discussion. It was a great pick for a discussion book and Julie was an ace leader. She had a lot of interesting information about the book and the reaction to it by various people. Not often have we read a book that people were willing to riot over.
